Business Analyst – Walmart
Summary:
My CPG Food client is searching for a Business Analyst with 3-5 years’ experience in packaged goods, research analytics, or retail industry (grocery, mass merchandisers, club stores). The Business Analyst must be proficient with in replenishment. This is a great opportunity to expand your skill set by learning category analysis if you don’t already have that skill set. Provide support to the Sales Team for replenishment and category reporting functions. In addition, the Business Analyst will provide analysis and ad hoc projects as needed to drive sales for other accounts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Utilize syndicated data and appropriate tools to identify trends in the market share and distribution to drive business.
· Create and update standardized reports using raw data.
· Provide and present ad hoc sales analyses to the Sales Department.
· Analyze strengths of top selling Wal-Mart stores and make recommendations for improvements
· Complete New Item, Price Change, and Small Change Forms and Worksheets as requested.
· Generate reports to include but not limited to Supplier Scorecard, Inventory Status, Order/Item Tracking Sheet and Order Tracking
· Analyze regions, traits and demographics to determine correct product placement.
· Report and analyze on planned vs. volume variances.
· Assist with planning by providing current sales trend information and analysis to support development of the customer plan.
· Track and manage shelving units.

Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university in Marketing or other related Business Majors
· 3-5 years or more related work experience in packaged goods, research analytics, or retail industry (grocery, mass merchandisers, club stores).
