Beauty Industry - Seattle District Manager
Global Beauty Company seeking District Sales Manager for Greater Seattle Market.
This role will manage a team of 8 full time sales representatives. Seeking an experienced sales leader that has managed commissioned based sales reps. Must have a passion for the beauty industry!
The District Sales Manager (DSM) leads sales and financial budgets in their sales district in order to meet or exceed the sales goals established by the Divisional Sales Manager. The DSM has to understand market activity, develop key accounts, coach and develop Salon Sales Consultants (SSC) and facilitate manufacturer support to accomplish corporate initiatives and sales growth.
· Bachelor’s degree required
· Proven sales and management experience is essential; beauty distributor experience is desirable
· Strong computer skills in Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office products.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Must have strong aptitude for numbers and figures and can efficiently translate sales goals to staff.
· Experience using Salesforce.com is strongly desired
· Requires the possession of a valid state driver’s license and safe driving record (background check will be performed)
· Must live within the assigned sales territory and meet travel requirements (see below)

Minimum 50% travel (to include overnight and some mandatory weekends for Sales Events, Educational Events and Meetings
